According to CVG, a Sony Customer Support representative has told them that a fixed version of the PS3’s 2.40 firmware update should see release in the middle of this week. This isn’t quite official word, but I doubt that a customer support rep would want to make something like this up…oh wait, let me rephrase that. I doubt a customer support rep who doesn’t work for Microsoft would want to make something like that up…I’ve been lied to more than once about when to expect a refurbished Xbox 360 coming back my way.
